League tables can’t tell you everything about a university, but they’re a good place to start. Out of 120 UK Universities, we are consistently in the top ten, and have now risen to 6th place in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.
Gold standard teaching
Lancaster University has been awarded the highest possible score in the UK government’s 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) ratings. Our TEF Gold rating is based on high quality teaching, excellent teaching facilities and the good careers our graduates go into.
Our school is locally approved by the National Accreditation Board. The NAB is an agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for better management of tertiary education as well as serving as the Quality Assurance Body at the tertiary education level.
