Launched with a vision
Our campus was launched in 2013 in partnership with Transnational Academic Group, with an intention to provide quality education and opportunities to students across the African continent. As a branch campus, our students benefit from the resources and expertise of our parent school, Lancaster University in the UK. Among other things, this means that our students graduate with a Lancaster University administered degree.
As a student of Lancaster University, our students have access to over 50,000 journals and e-resources, and may have the opportunity to transfer to the UK or participate in exchange programmes throughout the year.
Our easily accessible campus ensures that students have a well rounded University life inside and outside the classroom.
Our campus facilities include computer labs, learning commons, lecture theatres, tutorial and break out rooms, a career zone for students who need career advice and internship support, student support offices (which provide counselling support and academic support) and an exclusive EMBA suite for our EMBA students.
Virtual Learning Environment: All staff and students have access to Lancaster University’s online resources which provide constant access to lectures notes, learning materials, previous exam papers, and assignments. Many books are scanned into the system in PDF format, and our high commitment to research means we can offer free access to most academic journals.
Professional industry databases like ACE-Equity and CMIE-Business Beacon, among others, are available to help students get the latest facts, figures, and insights from industry.
