Lancaster University’s values are built on honesty, integrity, respect, innovation, societal development and service excellence. After our physical campus was closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to invest further efforts into setting up a sophisticated method of online delivery for our world class curriculum, and our students benefitted from the same immersive quality teaching in lectures, seminars and tutorials fully online. We then reopened our campus to conduct blended learning classes for the 2020-21 academic year starting January 2021. We are delighted to announce that we successfully transitioned back into offering 100% in person learning from October 2021 and our campus is fully open, with all COVID-19 protocols being strictly observed.

As part of the global Lancaster community, our students continue to have access to our library of resources, which includes over 10,000 journals and over 9,000 e-books. Students can maintain correspondence with their lecturers through Moodle for support. In addition to this, all student support services including Careers Support, Student Affairs, Library Staff, and the Academic Success Unit are available available online.

We were also able to put measures in place for all our students to be able to have online examinations last year, with our undergraduate students starting exams on 1st June, 2020. The President in an address on Sunday 31st May, 2020 announced that universities could re-open from June 15th 2020 to permit final year students to take their exams. By that date, all but a few of our students had already completed their exams.

With student support and success in mind, we are developing aid packages for new students in order to assist them with their further studies with the University. We urge you to contact your Admissions Officer to understand how you can continue your education and earn a highly ranked top UK degree.

Our OCTOBER intake is ongoing and our Admissions Officers are available for any queries online and over the phone.
