We’re delighted to announce that our BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme is now accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)!
This accreditation means that graduates of our Accounting & Finance programme who are interested in qualifying as chartered accountants after graduation will be awarded exemptions, and will be required to take far fewer ACCA exams.
Graduates from our Accounting & Finance programme will therefore be eligible to receive exemptions from the following papers:
- Accountant in Business – AB
- Management Accounting – MA
- Financial Accounting – FA
- Performance Management – PM
- Financial Reporting – FR
- Financial Management – FM
Graduates will get automatic exemption from papers 1-3 on completion of the programme, while exemptions from papers 4-6 are dependent on them having completed certain optional/quasi-core modules.
Our degrees however give our students far more than just exemptions from professional exams. Our students develop a broader understanding of business and are able to choose options which help develop their knowledge and expertise. It also means that those who want to become chartered accountants, will have a head-start towards this after graduating from LUG, with a wider range of skills as well as great technical knowledge.
We understand that it’s hard to research universities when you can’t visit in person. While our physical campus remains closed due to current COVID-19 pandemic, our Admissions Officers are available for one-on-one online sessions to answer any questions you may have, and guide you through the different stages of your application journey. Please click on the link below for programme you’re interested in, fill in your details on the form and an Admissions Officer will get in touch with you:
