The COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the entire world has changed the way we do many things, making life difficult for many, especially the less privileged. During these uncertain times, Transnational Academic Group (TAG) and Lancaster University Ghana continue to sympathise with all those affected, and therefore the TAG Education Trust recently visited the Rising Star Home in Dodowa as part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities. This is the start of a series of donations that will be made to support those who need it during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

The TAG Education Trust Foundation was officially launched at Lancaster University Ghana Campus, A&C Centre, East Legon last year to commence corporate social responsibility initiatives of Transnational Academic Group (TAG).
The TAG Education Trust Foundation, founded by Mr. Rakesh Wahi was registered as a Foundation in the Republic of Ghana on 7th June 2019 to support the education and development of beneficiaries of the Foundation.


These beneficiaries include:
• Current or future students and scholars from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are citizens of the Republic of Ghana;
• Disadvantaged communities of the Republic of Ghana;
• Children of non-executive staff of TAG Ghana;

Additionally Transnational Academic Group and Lancaster University Ghana realizes the economic and financial effect the coronavirus has had on businesses, as well as individuals, and with student support and success in mind, are developing financial aid packages for new students in order to assist them with their further studies with the University.
