Govindha is a Computer Science lecturer at LUG. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), India. He has an overall experience of 18 years in academics at various higher level technical institutions in India and abroad. He is currently teaching the modules Fundamentals of Computer Science, Advanced Programming, Distributed Systems, and Languages & Compilation at LUG. Dr Govindha's research interests include homomorphic encryption (cryptography) and secure cloud computing. He made significant contributions in developing a new variant of the integer based homomorphic encryption schemes and a novel data integrity verification protocol suitable for cloud computing paradigm. His future research is focused on devising secure cryptographic protocols for cloud based systems. He is a member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), ACM, and the IEEE Computer Society.
