Fred is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing. He lectures in Digital Systems, Operating Systems, Computing Professional issues and Ethics, Fundamentals of Computer Science, and Cyber Security and Risks.

He has an MSc in Applied Computer Science from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, SA, and a Certificate in Academic Practice from Lancaster University, UK. He has worked with University of South Africa (UNISA) Computing Department. He setup the IT Department, the School of Technology, and started Computer Science at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with RMIT University, Australia through the African Virtual University (AVU), He is a Ghana National Accreditation Board, programme evaluation consultant for Computer Science and Information Technology undergraduate programmes.

He has been an International Fellow and Visiting lecturer to the Open University Business School, UK and has been a mentor for Commonwealth of Learning (COL) titular program. He has been a consultant for tie African Virtual University and a technology coordinator for the AVU ACEP programme inception.

His research interests is in technology enhanced learning (TEL), digital marketing and Cyber Security. He has been a consultant in Voice and data installation contracts for the Ghana Standards Authority and the GES Science resource centre in Accra.
