Godwin Ansah


Godwin is a lecturer at Lancaster University Ghana. He tutors students in modules ranging from brand strategy, business to business marketing and management in the twenty first century and is passionate about equipping students for successful employability. His research interests include New Public Management (NPM) in public sector organisation; marketing assets and capabilities in SME contexts; and Change Management.

Godwin has a post graduate certificate in international academic practice (PGCAP International) from Lancaster University, UK and is also a Chartered Marketer (CIM, UK). He also holds a Masters degree from the University of East Anglia (UEA), UK; furthermore, he is a PhD candidate at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (School of Public Service and Governance).

Prior to a career in academia, he managed reputable projects such as the USAID funded Ghana Warehouse Receipts System Project (GWARP), serving as its managing director; and served on the Boards of the West Africa Grains Network (WAGN) and the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), Ghana. He has occupied senior positions with other respectable organisations including Omni Bank, Vodafone, Tigo (now AirtelTigo), Tesco and Joy FM (Multimedia Broadcasting Company).
